Having worked with beauty icons like Emma Watson, Victoria Beckham, Mary Steenburgen, and Blake Lively, and apprenticing with makeup guru Vincent Longo, Geoffrey is the go-to source for our vexing beauty questions. In the coming weeks he’ll be sharing summer wedding tips with us, but first, a little Q & A with the makeup master.

What is your beauty philosophy? “My personal philosophy is really about discovering, creating, and embracing one’s individuality.”

Which celebrities have you worked with? “I have worked with several celebrities and top fashion editors, including Victoria Beckham, Emma Watson, Mary Steenburgen, Blake Lively, Gabby Reece, Anna Wintour (Vogue), and Glenda Bailey (Harper’s Bazaar)” 

What is your favorite beauty product? “My favorite beauty product is the Beauty Blender. It’s absolutely the most essential and practical tool that everyone can use.”

What is the biggest beauty mistake that women make on their wedding days? “I think that women often lose sight of their individuality and listen to too many outside opinions or try to emulate someone that they are not. While having some references of inspiration is important, a bride is truly the most beautiful when she looks comfortable and confident and that comes from within, regardless of all the frills. Knowing what works best for the individual is the most important aspect, for any bride and that certainly includes makeup.”
